Jesus Christ Paid the Price For Our Sins..

Watch this video and you will realize how great is the Love of our God to us..

Jesus redeemed us..

Jesus redeemed us..

This video gives color to my life. I remember what God did for us to be saved. We should praise Him. There is none like Him. God loved us so much because He sacrifices His only begotten Son.

Today, He is the center of my life. I accept Him as my personal savior and He lead my path. I commit my life to Him. Just like this song, “Lead me to the Cross”; it says that I belong to Jesus. Yes, because I am His child and He is my Father. (more…)

Do Your Best to Rest

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest. Hebrews 4:9–11 (NIV)

Most of us think of the Sabbath as a day of rest, originating from the day of rest God took after he created the universe, as recorded in Genesis. That view is correct; it’s the reason we should take a Sabbath, a day of rest, each week.

Yet the Sabbath has a larger sense: an invitation to rest in God’s healing grace, trusting in his power and his purpose for your life. (more…)

Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. Matthew 26:40 (NIV)

Read this devotional as a prayer:

Help me, Lord, to develop a strong prayer life. I know you desire intimacy with me, and you want me to watch with you and pray (Matthew 26:40).

Yet, I never seem to find the time to pray in a deep, fervent, consistent, persistent way. What draws me to my knees the most is when I have a problem, when I want something from you, when I need your help. (more…)

My First Adventure at Mambukal Mountain

August 20, 2008 · 1 Comment

My first adventure did happen last February 2008 when we had our field trip in Bacolod City. The last thing we did was to visit Mambukal Resort. This place has nice surroundings. There are many places that you can choose for relaxing. It is found at the foot of the mountain. Other side of it is the forest. Many people enjoyed staying in that forest maybe because they can find many awesome views. (more…)

Meaning of Life

August 3, 2008 · 2 Comments

You will find out your uniqueness and purpose through a relationship with Jesus Christ. God was thinking of you long before you ever thought about him. His intent for your life predates your conception. you may choose your career, hobbies and many other parts of your life, but you don’t get to choose your purpose.

We approach into a special relationship with the Lord when we make life’s most judgment – the turning mark referred to past. (more…)

Helping Each Other Through Change

August 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

“I hope you will be patient with me ….” (2 Corinthians 11:1a, NLT)

In order to manage change, you must remember four things –

Love each other

The first mistake most people make during change is to focus on what they’ve lost, instead of what has been gained – and that creates fear. The antidote to fear is love: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear ….” (1 John 4:18 NKJ)

It’s impossible for love and fear to exist in the same environment – If we’ll focus on loving each other, then we’ll break out of the self-centeredness that often emerges during change. The love that conquers fear involves thinking about others instead of focusing on your own needs – and the more you love, the less you fear.

Listen to each other

During transition, we must be “quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry ….” (James 1:19 NIV) If we get the first two right (quick listening, slow speaking), then the third (slow anger) will become automatic. (more…)
